Butique das Meias

Butique das Meias, from client Tiago, is a compression-socks store. The challenge was easy to state and hard to execute: go from nothing to a complete, professional online store, without months of waiting or an agency budget.

Off-the-shelf marketplace stores are expensive, lock down the layout, and take a cut of every sale. Tiago wanted something of his own, fast to launch and easy to maintain.

A complete custom-built store: product catalog, detail pages, cart and checkout, all with its own identity and ready to sell.

The entire application was built through AI orchestration with Claude Code, without a single line written by hand, and shipped to butiquedasmeias.vercel.app.

Frontend: Next.js 16 with React 19 and TypeScript, styled with Tailwind CSS 4 and shadcn/ui components on top of Base UI.

Backend and data: Supabase with SSR authentication, storing catalog and orders.

Checkout integrated with Mercado Pago, supporting PIX, card in up to 3 interest-free installments, and boleto.

Form validation with Zod, transactional email with Resend, image optimization with sharp, and the React Compiler enabled for performance.

Continuous deployment on Vercel, with a preview environment on every pull request.

From the first commit to the store going live took about 3 days, with over 100 commits and 44 pull requests. What an agency would deliver in months shipped in a long weekend.

Every change went through preview before hitting production, so speed did not mean giving up control.

Butique das Meias proves that a local business can have its own modern store, independent of marketplaces, without paying a fortune or waiting months.

It is real software, live, generating digital presence and sales for the client, built through AI orchestration.
